Two men in Kerala died while standing in queue to exchange old high-currency notes for new ones. Like many other states, Kerala's banks saw chaos and frustration today as people tried to collect the new Rs.500 and Rs.2,000 notes that have replaced the Rs. 500 and Rs.1,000 currency that was declared invalid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday night.
